Blizzard Beach Back Open

Blizzard Beach finally re-opened it’s doors yesterday (Sunday 27th) after a few months of refurbishment.

In case you didn’t know, Disney shut one of their water parks every year during the quiet times just so they can can clean the place up, replace all of the water and do all of the other things that are needed to happen in order to run the parks successfully. This means that next year it will be Typhoon Lagoon that shuts down for a few months.

I always find it amazing that Disney only close their water parks because when you think about the theme parks over in the UK they are actually shut for the entire duration of the Winter. This is always something I thought to be a bit stupid, especially when you compare the sizes of the parks over here and the ones in Florida, they are hardly hard to manage!

So if you are thinking about heading to Blizzard Beach any time soon make sure you enjoy the newly refurbished park!
